The aspect ratio is the hight of an image to the width. In photography, cameras commonly tend to have an aspect ratio of 3:2 and 4:3. Try to match the aspect ratio of the frame to that of your photos or you may get distorted image displays.
For picture sharpness and clarity the resolution is important as is the number of pixels. The image quality improves the higher the resolution. Higher resolution also takes up more memory, personaly I would prefer to have fewer pictures to display and have much better picture quality. The larger the internal memory the better.

Wifi is so much better than having to mess about with cables to access your computer and transferring media via memory cards and flash drives.
A remote control is just so much more convenient, just like the TV remote that saves you having to get up every time you wish to change the program. Change the images, display setting, multimedia presentations and much more via the remote control.

I have a Ultech model dph3080e and it cost leas than $100. Not bad for a 8 inch digial photo frame. It works great. It uses a SD card for added memory, and comes with a remote.

It completely amazes me at how far we’ve come, humans and technology that is, in our ability to create more and more fantastic products. First, (if we can call it first) it was the standard 11×14 picture frame, now it’s the rotating photo digital frames that are taking over the standard frames.
If we would have seen these products about 30 years ago, people would have been in awe and referenced it to some sort of science fiction movie. Now they (we) just somewhat expect new products like this, however I still believe standard 11×14 picture frames will keep their part in home décor and keeping those memories safe at home.
